As an ordinary citizen may I make a few simple suggestions ? एक साधारण नागरिक होने की हैसियत से क्या मैं कुछ सुज्हव दे सकती ंं ?

Ordinary citizens continue to face the brunt of the inspector raj . सामान्य नागरिकों को तो अब भी इंस्पेक्टर राज की मार सहनी पड़े रही है .

Such needless harassment of ordinary citizens constitutes routine police work in India . देश में इस तरह नागरिकों को परेशान करना पुलिस के काम का हिस्सा बन गया है .

If this transformation was achieved for the benefit of ordinary citizens , Mumbai 's municipal commissioner would qualify for a national award . अगर यह बदलव आम नागरिकों की भलई के लिए किया गया होता तो मुंबई के निगमायुक्त राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार के हकदार होते .

There are other unlearnt lessons from the past , like the need to punish policemen and officials who fail to protect ordinary citizens from violent mobs . अतीत से कुछ और सबक भी नहीं सीखे गए , मसलन हिंसा पर उतारू भीड़े से आम नागरिकों की रक्षा न कर पाने वाले पुलिस अथवा प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों को सजा दिलवाना .

The Delhi Government was given nearly three years to ensure its buses converted to compressed natural gas but governments can get away with things that ordinary citizens cannot , so nothing was done . दिल्ली सरकार को अपनी बसों में संपीड़ित प्राकृतिक गैस ( सीएनजी ) किट लगवाने के लिए तीन साल का वक्त दिया गया था.पर सरकार आम नागरिक नहीं है.सो इस दिशा में उसने कुछ नहीं किया .

To the ordinary citizen it was the fascinating and inspiring story of a heroic effort-the most famous in Indian history of a great Indian patriot , supported by thousands of his countrymen , to liberate their country . आम आदमी के लिए वह एक आकर्षक और प्रेरणादायक कहानी थी-भारत के इतिहास के सबसे प्रसिद्ध महान देशभक़्त द्वारा अपने हजारों-लाखों देशवासियों के सहयोग से अपने देश को आजाद कराने के ओजस्वी प्रयास की आकर्षक और प्रेरणादायक कहानी .
